When studying to become a teacher, I fell in love with STEM Education because I believe it was a way for me to bring the values I have learned in the pool and bring them to the classroom.

Through college athletics, we emphasize the power of collaboration, team-work, communication, and leadership. STEM integration embodies these values to allow our students the opportunity to become real-world problem-solvers & innovators. I believe STEM education allows our students to make meaningful connections to the world around them and probes them to be life-long learners.
